JL Yarbro, image copyright JL YarbroJL Yarbro, of Studio Zubrovka

JL Yarbro has written for Psychic-tymes in previous years, in fact a ghost story by him was in our very first issue in 2000! Here follows a short biography of him:

I was born June 23, 1955 in Dyersburg, Tennessee. I was raised there, a typical small southern town.
I now reside in my parents' former country home, near Dyersburg.
My father was a planter and I grew up in that background. As a young adult, I farmed for several years, then owned a used car business, sold real estate and returned to college. I majored in journalism and history in college. For the last 10 years, I have concentrated my efforts on sharpening my creativity with a camera. I also write book and music reviews and do light illustration work from time to time.
I read a lot, love music, antiques and vintage automobiles.
Im live with my wife, Jana, three dogs and one slightly neurotic cat.

Mediumship Development Page

Janet Cyford, copyright Janet CyfordJanet Cyford

Janet Cyford is a traditional British Spiritualist Medium whose background and training have been with the Spiritualist Movement in Great Britain. Her awareness of an afterlife and sensitivity to the presence of "Spirit Friends" was nurtured from an early age by her parents. The phenomena of deep trance and transfiguration mediumship along with spiritual healing were gifts demonstrated by several members of her family. Their many years of involvement in a Spiritualist National Union Church in a London suburb provided a Lyceum education and framework that supported her later choice to work for Spirit.

Using a sane and sensible approach through private readings, mediumship development groups and workshops, she has provided countless people with evidence of the survival of the soul and established a method for passing on the spiritual truths gleaned from a lifetime of experience. Her book "The Ring of Chairs" was written in cooperation with Spirit in an effort to guide those seeking mediumship and spiritual unfolding in the safety of the development group circle.

She has also written a book:
"The Ring of Chairs". Now available in hardcopy and eBook (PDF) at:

Tessa Moonbeam has passed away, but her web site is currently still available on the internet. It is a wonderful web site and you can visit, just click on the banner to the right.

Tessa remains in our hearts. She brought a cheerfulness to our pages, never hinting at the pain of cancer eating away at her body. At least she is now free of it in the Summerlands.

The page continues, dedicated to her memory.
